Dr. Ruth Eriksson, VMD

Dr. Eriksson grew up in Oxford, Pennsylvania on a farm with many animals, which sparked her interest in caring for the medical needs of all animals. She attended the University of Pennsylvania for veterinary school and graduated in 2001. After graduation, Dr. Eriksson worked for several practices in the Chester County, Pennsylvania and Wilmington, Delaware areas. She and her family lived in Sweden for three years as well, where they immersed themselves in the Swedish culture and became bilingual. She and her family returned to the United States to stay in June of 2016, and she will remain here at Eagles Peak Animal Clinic as a part time veterinarian. Dr. Eriksson is interested in all aspects of animal medicine and surgery. In her free time, she enjoys riding her horse and making pottery. She looks forward to seeing you and your pets soon.
